I'm just a self taught patient hobbyist person.

I've always been interested in drawing, sculpting and painting since I was 2 years old.

I started drawing and developing my own style of ballpoint pen drawing back when I was in school, in simple classroom sketches in the back of my exercise books. I never imagined there were so many brilliantly masterful ballpoint artists out there.

Ballpoint pen is not my only medium, it's just the one I'm currently trying to master. At this point in my life I'm fairly proficient with chalk, pencil, color pencil, pastels, oils and acrylics. Maybe one day I'll create an account just to share those.

I'm just glad to be here, I want to learn a lot, see a lot, and enjoy to its fullest what other fellow artists have to share.

It takes me forever to do my works. The only thing that makes me keep going is my love for what I do and the ambition to go further and further.

Ballpoint pens are as underestimated as they are a powerful medium.
A ballpoint pen is just another art tool. A tool is only as powerful as the Artist who uses it.

It's not about what you use, it's about how you use it.

I was wondering; do you ever mess up and throw away some of your art? Because you're just so good that even the thought seems almost impossible!

Rarely. But it can happen.

That is just brilliant - why you don't work as a professional is a wonder to me - what a talent you are :)

 Welcome to I-Heart-Colors! We're a group dedicated to showing imaginative, colorful and vibrant artists and their work.

We're an unusual color-oriented group with our own rules--we only accept works that have more than a certain amount of color in them, are extremely color-focused and we really appreciate good presentation. This to only bring you, dear members and watchers, the color-wise best and most inspiring pieces of art!

We welcome artists of all skill levels, as long as their art is colorful! If you are an artist who is not afraid to use colors, please do join us! If you're only an appreciator of colorful art, you might want to watch the group instead.

To get started in the group, please familiarize yourself with our Rules of Submission, on the group's front page. If you have any questions, please take a stroll through our gallery — there are many examples of how we categorize art present in each folder!

And of course, if you have any questions or suggestions, please note the group and one of our helpful admins will get to you shortly!

Glad to have you aboard!

What you can do with your pens is simply incredible ! :wow:
But how do you deal with white surfaces: opaque white ink ? a fine scratcher ? or just drawing around ?
rakeshmaya Featured By Owner Nov 24, 2014
i was wondering about the same thing, i think its drawing around.. but that leaves very less room for error
